Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a self-taught watercolor artist from Stockholm with a background in graphic design. Color, form, and composition have always been part of my work, but it wasn\u2019t until a few years ago that I rediscovered painting. I\u2019ve been drawing and painting since I was a child. My father drew a lot, especially in ink, and he was an early inspiration to me. When I discovered watercolor, I was immediately drawn to it \u2014 the technique is direct, fast, and leaves little room for mistakes, which suited my way of working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my teenage years, music took over, and I didn\u2019t paint for nearly thirty years. Still, my professional life has always revolved around the visual, especially through design, typography, and image-making. When I picked up my watercolor paints again, I realized how much I had missed it. Today, I paint regularly. My subjects vary, but I often return to legs and feet in motion, preferably in urban environments with strong contrasts. Composition is always important to me, perhaps influenced by my previous profession. Technically, I try to paint in a loose and expressive way, although I often get caught up in the details. For me, the balance between freedom and precision brings the paintings to life. I also believe that striving for something you haven\u2019t fully mastered is often more interesting than achieving perfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
